1. Service Description

electerm online (hereinafter "the Service") is a free online terminal, SSH client, SFTP manager, and remote desktop tool. By using the Service, you agree to comply with the following terms.

2. Account Registration

The Service authenticates users via GitHub OAuth. You need a valid GitHub account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for:

  • Violating any laws or regulations
  • Unauthorized access to others' systems
  • Distributing malware or conducting cyber attacks
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Service
  • Abusing system resources in ways that affect other users

4. Data Storage

Your connection configurations, bookmarks, and settings are stored on our servers. We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security. We recommend regularly backing up important data.

5. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee continuous availability. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, upgrades, or other reasons, and will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance.

6. Disclaimer

The Service provides no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

electerm is an open-source project released under the MIT license. electerm-related marks and branding used in the Service are property of the electerm project.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Modified terms take effect immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
